Services

The New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund provides free services to more than 14,000 low- and moderate-income individuals and families across the state each year. Our services include free tax preparation, HUD-certified first-time homebuyer and foreclosure prevention counseling, in-person health care enrollment assistance, financial education and outreach, discounted oil heat to renters and homeowners who heat their homes with oil, and education and outreach on various issues and topics. All of our services are provided in English and Spanish.

New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund is monitoring the Coronavirus situation and following the guidance set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and various US state and local government entities. Our first priority is the health and well-being of those individuals with whom we work and serve. For loan counseling and financial coaching clients your application process will remain the same. One-on-one sessions will be provided via telephone and video conferencing.
