No one who works full time should live in poverty. And New Jersey has one of the highest costs of living of any state in the nation — making it even hard to make ends meet on minimum wage. That’s why the New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund is educating policymakers on the need for a minimum wage of $15 an hour and works with the Fight for 15 and a Union campaign.
NJCAEF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that works to empower low- and moderate-income people through research, education and training on public policy issues important to working families and seniors. In addition to our issue campaigns, NJCAEF offers free financial skills-building education, outreach and counseling programs across New Jersey.
