New Jersey Citizen Action is a statewide grassroots organization that fights for social, racial and economic justice.  Over the past 12 years, NJCA has provided free, quality tax return preparation for low- and moderate-income individuals and families. NJCA is now accepting resumes for temporary Tax Preparers to work in our Bloomfield, Highland Park and Newark locations. Flexible hours are available including days, evenings and Saturdays. Accepting Resumes* – Temporary Consumer Health Care Organizer:

New Jersey Citizen Action (NJCA) has an immediate opening for a Consumer Health Care Organizer with experience in building successful campaigns. This is a temporary 5 month position for an individual that will play a lead role in a statewide Affordable Care Act (ACA) implementation campaign. Click here for a copy of the job description.

*Accepting Resumes* – Full-time Health Care Organizer:

NJCA is hiring a full-time health care organizer. This is a one-year position that will be based out of our Highland Park office.  The person in this position will conduct community and grassroots outreach and organizing, in coordination with our partners, to increase the enrollment of individuals in underserved communities across New Jersey into ACA coverage. This person will also work with our partners to develop events, and other outreach activities for targeted communities.  In addition, they will help lead an education and advocacy campaign to promote early screening and intervention of youth at risk of substance misuse. Click here for a copy of the job description.



New Jersey Citizen Action is in need of volunteers working out of our Highland Park and Newark offices on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays to do data inputting of and phone calling to activists across the state, inviting them to participate in upcoming events and actions coordinated by NJCA.
